House Builds

Safe, secure housing transforms lives.

• Project Nicaragua builds houses and latrines in Amatitan, Nicaragua for families living in extreme poverty.  Their homes are makeshift shelters made of plastic, wood, scrap metal, and dirt floors.

• Many of these homes house several generations.  

• Families chosen for a house build are required to work building the houses.

• Family participation encourages a sense of pride and independence.
